Our beta isn't until next Monday but our RE wants to try something different for our next cycle. This does not make me very optimistic for this cycle if he's already planning the next one!?!?
Instead of taking Letrozole CDs 3-7, he wants me to take it CDs 3-12 hoping to produce more than 1 follicle. Our first 2 IUIs produced 2 but the last 2 IUIs only produced 1. He's hoping by extending the Letrozole, it'll increase the egg quantity.
We discussed moving onto injectables next cycle but since we are 100% OOP this is a much cheaper option! Has anyone else done this and had success?
Re: RE's office just called - extending Letrozole?
SAIFW
I didn't take it CD3-12....but I did take the 'crescendo' dosage (CD3 - 1 pill; CD4 - 2 pills; CD5 - 3 pills; CD6 - 4 pills). I had 4 follies when I did it this way.
But here's to hoping you don't have to worry about another cycle! GL!?

2 Femara TI, 3 Follistim IUI = BFN & 1 c/p
IVF #1 - BFP - boy/girl Twins!
Ben and Reese born at 34w2d!
I'll have to ask about the crescendo dosage plan! It sounds like a good idea!
What dose are you on and has he considered increasing the dose that you take days 3-7?
I've only ever taken it those days, however, this cycle I added in Follistim on days 8-10. The injectables are more expensive, however, I only took them for three days so it wasn't outrageous. With just femara I produced one follicle but adding in the follistim gave me three good ones and a fourth small follicle.
Kelly, Mom to Christopher Shannon 9.27.06, Catherine Quinn 2.24.09, Trey Barton lost on 12.28.09, Therese Barton lost on 6.10.10, Joseph Sullivan 7.23.11, and our latest, Victoria Maren 11.15.12
Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck. Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.
