Okay so the post below about the Duggars got me thinking. They don't believe in dancing and discourage their kids from doing it. DD just started dancing to music and it is so sweet to watch. Dance must be a soul's expression of joy. It's not something we are conditioned to do, baby's do it by instinct. All cultures all over the world dance. People with famine and war find it in their hearts to dance and celebrate. I understand it is to do with sexuality to certain religions, just seems so wrong to me. That's all.
Re: About Dancing and the Duggars
They have mentioned it if I recall correctly. They call what little kids do 'jumping for joy' or something like that.
No I remember an episode where they all went shopping for ONE of the new babies and a few of the little boys were dancing all around. Mrs. Duggar didn't stop them. She said it's just natural for them to want to move when they hear any music. No dirty dancing for the older kids, though:)
OK, well I'm glad they at least don't discourage little ones from doing it. I used to be a part of a Christian dance group so you can guess my views on it.
