Questions before Discharge

I am trying to make a list of things I want to talk to the Neo's about before we get discharged. What sort of things did you ask? TIA!

    Our discharge happened really quickly so I didn't have time to even think what to ask.

    I did set up a pedi appt for just 2 days after we brought DD home. 

    Maybe ask about oxygen, feedings (how often and how much), when to call the NICU, immunizations, other treatments, etc.

    Good luck and its great to see your LO making progress.

    Feedings- what formula they want you to use, or if breastfeeding do you need formula to fortify.

    If you are going home with any meds. What?  Can they give you a script ahead of time so you can get it filled.

    Any specialist appointments that need to be set up?

    Pretty much anything you can take care of before he comes home so you are not running around after discharge.

    My NICU suggested some pediatricians who are good with preemies.  I chose one of their recommended doctors, and it has been really helpful.  You may want to ask for a recommendation
