Well we're in the house and today was my first day of the 1 hour 15-20 minute commute. Luckily not much traffic today because I left late (kept finding little things to clean up as I was getting ready to go).
I was good the first hour of the drive, then got sleepy, so we'll see how that works on Friday.
I spent all weekend in the kitchen. But finally, everything is put away and organized in a way I think I can function with. The baby furniture is together, and his stuff is at the house, I just now need to put it away. DH is driving me insane because he doesn't like the boxes around. So he's unwrapping all my extremely breakable and expensive stuff, and just leaving them sitting around. I think they were much safer in their bubble wrap in a box. How about putting the books away? Or helping in the kitchen? Or putting your clothes and other stuff in the bedroom away? Nope, I'm pretty much the unpacker, except for my breakable stuff, and he's out shopping (spending way more money than we can afford, on stuff we do not need now) or walking in the lawn. My mom helped with the kitchen though.
Re: We're in the House!
Congrats on the house, and yeah that commute is tough!
I absolutely hate unpacking. Your DH sounds like mine. He was all gung ho to unpack b/c he hates boxes too.
Woo Hoo!! Congrats on the new house.
How are you feeling? Only 10 days to go! :-)
