Does anyone have/use a bar-height dining table here?

B/c MH is pretty tall, we only have a bar-height dining table, which we got (as a wedding present from our registry) when we got married. At the time, it was perfect...now, not so perfect. I'm having trouble finding a highchair that goes that tall. Does anyone know of a chair that will work with a bar height table? The only one I could find was Boon Fresco Loft that goes for $499 but I'm looking for something <=$100 ($200 max).

    We do. We just bought the space saver high chair that straps on to our dining chairs.

    We don't, but we use the Chicco Caddy Hook On Chair, which attaches to the table top. You can use it at home and take it with you when you travel or eat out. We love it so far, and it's only about $30 on Amazon. You'll just have to check that your table top isn't too thick for it... our counter top is, unfortunately.

    I was looking at that. Do you know how wide the bottom of the space saver is? I feel like our chairs are pretty narrow and I don't know if it will stay on well/sturdy enough. I'm also concerned about tipping since our chair's legs are narrower at the bottom and wider at the top...

    I'll measure tomorrow and let you know.  (MIL is sleeping downstairs so I can't go down right now.)  It stays on well because it straps on to the seat and the back of the chair.  But I'm not sure about tipping.  It's pretty light though and as long as LO doesn't rock all over the place I don't see it being a problem.  But I think our chairs legs are wider at the bottom.  Not sure.

    We have a pub style table...the Chico high chair works with that hieght. I can comfortably sit in my chair and feed her.

    Thanks for measuring this for me! Our chair is 13" wide near the back of the chair so I'm not sure if this will work, but thanks so much for the info!!

    Good to know! Thanks for the rec! I'll put that on my list. I think I'm gonna end up making a trip to Babies R Us and checking out their floor samples or something before we make our final purchase.
