  Ideally, he is with his daddy when I pump, but when daddy it at work, I get creative! When he was only rolling I would sit on the floor next to him with some toys & books and pump.  When he got a bit older, he played in his exersaucer/walker while I pumped.  Now he is in his play room and I sit in there with him & pump. Only had to "disconnect" twice to stop him from doing something!

  we vary it up - swing, i sit next to her while she's on the playmat, etc.  sometimes i'll pump when she's napping - even if i'm not due to pump at that time, might as well take advantage of the free time!

  I have three scenarios that allow me to pump now that Tristan is very mobile.

  1.  DH or MIL watch Tristan while I pump

  2.  Tristan is taking a nap

  3.  I pump hands free while he is in his high chair and I am feeding him one of his meals for the day.

  Before he starting crawling, cruising around I used to just sit next to him while he did tummy time... or while he plays with things/ books on his playmat.

  On the other side, LOL!

  I nurse and pump at both 5:30 sessions. While at work, she is in DC. I try to fit in another pumping session after she goes down for the night.
