Holiday decoration poll!

I'm putting up my Christmas decorations!  We aren't having anyone over for Thanksgiving and I love Christmas so I figured, why not!  I get to enjoy them longer!  We are going to wait until the 2nd week of Dec to put up our tree.

When do you plan to put your holiday decorations up? 

After 4.5 years our miracle IVF baby is here!

    I just bought more decorations today - some beautiful garland for the tree.  We will probably put our stuff up the weekend after Thanksgiving.  I like to put it up early to enjoy as long as possible.

    My hubby and I have traveled out of the country for the past 5 Christmas's so we don't decorate.  This year we are staying put b/c of all the IF bills so I am thinking about decorating.  I have to go buy decorations first...

    Any suggestions?

    I was going to put mine up this weekend...DH dragged everything out, but we ran out of time. I'll probably start putting things up this week! Excited!

    Us too, but domestically...we have never even bought a tree.  Not this yr either.

    We always go cut our own tree and put everything up after Thanksgiving.

    twins nearly lost to IC @21w, saved by rescue cerclage, 17P & 16w of bedrest
    Our twins born @36w4d via CS when A came foot first

    We started putting up the outside lights this weekend since it was in the 50's so it was nicer out.  We won't turn them on until Thanksgiving night.  We have our families over for Thanksgiving (~25 people) and we like to have the house decorated and make that the first night we turn our outdoor lights on.

    We'll decorate the inside of the house next weekend and finish up during the week before turkey day!

    It took 44 cycles, just over 3 years, 6 failed IUI's in MI, and 1 round of IVF at CCRM to get our BFP!
    Beta #1 (9dp5dt) = 206, Beta #2 (11dp5dt) = 438
    1st u/s @ 6w5d = 11/11/11 = ONE little bean! HB 120bpm!

    We always put up our decorations the weekend of Thanksgiving. It's getting close! I can't wait!!
    After 3 years of infertility we were blessed with twin girls through private infant adoption.

    I was going to wait til Thanksgiving weekend cause hubby will be out of town but I couldn't wait!  We had an 800 sq ft apartment last year.  This year we have a 1400 sq ft house.  I had to put it out so I could see how much more I need to buy! Wink

    DH is off this whole week, so we're going to decorate this week! so so happy!
    Married '02, TTC May '05

    Dx -Ute cancer, DOR from cancer treatments, and embryo quality issues. NOV 2010 CANCER FREE
    2005-2011= 3 Rounds of Clomid, 5 IUI's, 3 IVF's- ALL BFN's
    After 7yrs TTC, 5yrs of ute cancer, and 11 failed IF treatments, we got a surprise BFP! So thankful!
