I know it's pretty early for Santa photos, but we want to get our cards out ASAP after Thanksgiving. Plus being near 8 months pregnant, there was no way I'm taking DS by myself or standing in line forever. We waited 45 minutes which apparently is a great waiting time?hmmmm... I was amazed at how GREAT they came out! And how good DS was.
Cute! I didn't know Santas were already out places! My kid hates Santa so I'm not sure if I will torture him again this year, lol. I'll have to post a pic in a few when I find last years. No harm in getting the Christmas cards done early, I did ds's Christmas pic in October and our cards are currently sitting on the dining room table waiting to be addressed.
DH and I are awwing over this and are amazed at what an AWESOME Santa this is! He actually looks like the real deal not the fake generic santa!! Love this!

If you guys are still in the DFW area next November, and want a photog who has a "real" Santa come in for Santa pics, let me know. The studio that did our wedding photos has an amazing program for kids with really cheap sitting fees, and they're much closer to you than they are to me! They do their Santa pics the two Saturdays leading up to Thanksgiving, by appt only, and they're always awesome (he usually puts some up on his blog, but I haven't seen them yet for yesterday's shoot).
OP - such a cute pic of your DS!

Very cute! And very authentic looking Santa. Not one of those fake, grimy beards.
I give up trying to get a ticker. I have a DD that is 2.5 years old and is awesome. Maybe I'll add a quote to distinguish myself. Hmmm. How about...
"It is more fun to talk with someone who doesn't use long, difficult words but rather short, easy words like "What about lunch?" - A.A. Milne, Winnie-the-Pooh
Very cute! Santa arrives here the day after Thanksgiving. We go to the local market and they set up an awesome display in the garden center every year with elves and trains and a santa house and they do free digital pictures. DD wasn't really feeling it last year (I'll have to dig out the picture), but this year she understands the concept of Santa bringing toys and she knows she has to ask him for what she wants, so I am curious to see how this pans out!!
We are doing our Christmas pics Nov 29th and although I usually do the cards myself, I am feeling particularly overwhelmed this year so I might just suck it up and let Sears do the cards for me, even though they will probably cost double

Cute!!
Santa hasn't even arrived yet around here. I think this weekend coming up is when he's coming to the malls, etc.
