What are YOU asking for christmas?

I keep coming up with things for the baby but I really need to come up with things for me. Obviously clothes is not something I want right now. I would love to get a laser treatment on my face but that isn't a very fun gift for dh to give me and neither is botox lol! I'm getting him a new 250g xbox so I'm trying to figure out something fun for him to give me.

What are you asking for as your big christmas gift?

We usually just go get a bunch of new toys and donate them as our gift to each other. We might get something small for one another, I wouldn't mind some new perfume...:) Don't know yet.

A flip video camea, or something similar.? I would love to be able to video tape part of baby's birth (no close up vag shots or anything, though...yuck).

I can't think of anything I specifically want for myself right now. One idea I gave my husband is a bangle bracelet that I can switch from wrist to wrist to remember which side I previously fed LO from. Other than that maybe a pretty diaper bag, some scarves, or new shoes. Knowing DH he'll probably get me something for the kitchen, which I'd normally love but probably won't have time to use once LO is here.

I am having the same problem. I already know what I want to get DH as his big gift ( a new electric razor), but I don't know what to ask for. I have all the electronics I need, I don't usually like to ask for clothing for Christmas unless it is gift cards for clothes. I suppose I could always ask for a new purse or jewelry, but I feel like I have plenty of both.

All my ideas are baby related and DH keeps asking for ideas non-baby related but I honestly cannot think of much of anything else this year.

My big Christmas gift from dh is a new camera bag that looks like a purse, which I picked out. It's practical for me since I'm a photographer, but it isn't a necessity so it's a fun gift as far as I'm concerned

Everything else on my list is baby related in some way.

Usually I ask for clothes and shoes, but since that won't work this year my list is pretty boring. So far on my list I have:

- some new sheets for our bed

- giftcards to buy clothes after LO is born

- curtains for our bedroom

- serving dishes

- iPhone 4

- diamond stud earrings

- a non-stick saute pan

- some new lipgloss

- perfume

I am asking for a nice watch. I haven't worn one in 8 years (since I started carrying a cell phone around, basically) but I know that when baby comes, I won't want to pull out my phone to note the time every time he eats, poops, naps, etc. So it's sort of baby related, but also a nice gift.

DH and I are really trying to be thifty and smart with our $$ to save up for the half of my maternity leave that will be unpaid (and I will have to pay out of pocket for my portion of our health benefits). That being said, we are only doing stockings. We typically do a fun, somewhat "big" gift in our stocking, and then a bunch of little things. However, this year we put a limit on our stocking spending.

I am not sure what to ask for? Things I want are all baby-related! Maybe just gift cards or something? I was thinking of a watch for DH's big stocking gift, but the one he wants is not in the budget we set for our stocking shopping!

Dh and I arent exchanging this year since money is tight. My parents always go all out for christmas though. I want bar stools, monogrammed bath towels,perfume, a pandora charm, and dinnerware.

I have a small wish list for my birthday/Christmas of things I feel I need, but I know SO wants to get me something special so he'll probably get me a nice piece of jewelry. I "need" a new flat iron, a nice pair of everyday earrings like studs or huggies, a perfume, and a watch. I'm sure my dad will get me one of the 4 as a double present. SO doesn't know about my mini wish list but he did make a comment about getting me a CHI one of these days because my straightener is seeing it's last days.

I'm asking for a camera (I'll pick one out on black fri/cyber mon) because mine (Nikon Coolpix S550) takes blurry crappy pictures. I'll also be upgrading to an iphone as soon as my plan is eligible (like Jan 3rd) so that'll pretty much cover me for Christmas.

I really want a new little camera like a Canon Power Shot or something..I have a Nikon D40 (DSLR) but it gets to be a little bulky always lugging that around.

I also asked DH for a new pendent necklace with DH and soon to be DD's initials on it. That will probably be a bit pricey so we may wait to get that for Valentines Day.

My husband and I are just doing stockings for each other this year-we are focusing on baby and home improvements right now. My list for other family consists of an immersion blender, a salad spinner, amazon gift cards for my kindle, a massage gift card, and slippers. Nothing too exciting.

We usually do a joint gift after Christmas when there are good sales. Last year we got a new camera. This year we're getting a new video camera. I really want a new hair straightener, but I doubt we'll be able to afford it.

I want a new iPod... I want a nano, but 5th generation, I don't like the new little ones. I also want a comforter set for my new bed I'm getting for graduation next month .

I was going to ask for my glider for christmas, but I'm holding out that one of my family members is going to buy it for me. I also want to get something for myself one last time haha.

My graduation/Christmas present to myself is going to be an upgrade to an HTC Evo 4G when my plan is up for renewal in January.

This is always hard for me since Christmas and my birthday are 3 weeks apart. I want bird feeders and new wind chimes. I love to be outside and love anything for my garden. For my birthday I just want a day with DH (and baby too since she'll only be a couple of weeks old). Maybe a movie and dinner. DH and I are getting a new flat screen TV for each other for Christmas plus stocking stuffers.

We're getting a new flat screen tv and gorgeous tv stand. It'll be our big gifts to each other. I'll probably pick him up a couple of small things -- and he'll probably do the same for me (but not big enough that I'd have to give him a list or anything).

I am really hoping to get a Kindle or something similar. I also told DH and my family that I could use a few household items (crockpot, skillet), Modern Family Season 1 on DVD, Bath & Body Works lotions and shower gels, book store gift cards, dining out gift cards (so DH can pick up dinner on the way home!), etc. I also wouldn't mind some gift cards to go shopping for after I lose some baby weight. I will want to celebrate (hopefully) getting back to my normal size!
