yeast cream with CD?

Our youngest has had this recurrent diaper rash for a month now, it keeps coming and going.  When it was really bad I was using sposies, but now we're back to cd.  I can see small spots of it trying to come back but I really want to keep using the cloth (we use FB), but can I use the anti-fungal and cortisone with the cloth?

  • i use the cream with the cloth... hope that is okay.
  • from what I know it may be the diaper that is keeping the rash in. I have read that you should leave them in the sun to kill the bacteria. Not sure if that helps...

  • I was them in pretty hot water.  The pedi said he didn't think the yeast would survive it, but maybe they are.  I wish we had some sun, but we don't see much of that this time of year here.

  • I just place a small piece of terry cloth over where i have put the cream, so the cream doesn?t get on the diaper. It seems to work for me. I?m sure if you have an old receiving blanket you could tear it up it would work the same.

  • we cd and ds had a horrible yeast rash. i sprayed the area with grapefruit seed extract solution and rubbed virgin coconut oil all over. both are cd friendly and got rid of the rash in a couple days.
