Does the name Autumn sound white trash to you?

I am due really soon and we have yet to pick out a girl name! I only met 1 Autumn in my life and was just reading about names online and it is stated somewhere that 'white trash' use this name a lot. Just thought I'd get some random opinions.?

I think your lifestyle and that of your daughter is what will determine if people think she's white trash. Not a name. Trashy people share a lot of names with non trashy people.

That was my favorite name growing up. I don't think it's WT at all. I had a nasty (rich) girl ruin it for me though in high school. She was a snot.

No - I think it's very pretty and I am very sensitive to how names can be perceived.

That being said, I chose a seasonal middle name. I'm going with Noelle, since it just seems like a nice, just-in-time-for-Christmas baby name.

honestly i always thought it was a little WT, im not sure why, i just think it is. i dont hate the name, but id never pick it. the 2 girls i know with that name are VERY WT so it just proved my point (in my head), one lives in a trailer with her meth making bf/baby daddy, the other is my brother's ex-gf who was super WT and i wont even get into that here.

I love the name Autumn. I've only known 2 Autumn's - 1 was absolutely gorgeous, dark hair, slender, tall. The other was blonde and on the short side and a very sweet girl. I don't consider Autumn to be a "hillbilly" name. Good luck on your decision.

I did know an Autumn in hs. She has two sisters named Winter and Spring. Her niece is Summer Rain. And her daughter's name is Heaven.

NO it doesn't. A person makes the name, a name doesn't make a person. I went to college with a girl named Autumn and I loved her name. It was actually one of the names I liked for our LO.

Autumn was our name if LO had been a girl. Autumn Brooke. I love it and it is not white trash at all!

My niece is named Autumn so I have a good association with that name. I don't think it's white trash at all anyways. She's a cute little girl and she really loves her name!
