Holy mother of blankets!

So I just counted and lo has 32 yes 32 blankets! This does include receiving blankets.Almost everyone that came to my shower bought me something off of the registry, a cute outfit, and made or purchased a blanket. I don't even know what to do with them all, but one thing is for sure baby will never be cold! LOL

    OMG! I returned a lot of the ones that were Carter's, like from Kohl's...the handmade fleecy ones are awesome. Hurray for winter babies!

    I got TONS of blankets from one of my showers with ds, the majority of them have never been used, I sold some of the receiving blankets at a garage sale, and some of the blankets will be dd's now. I know some people will say you can never have to many receiving blankets, but we never really used them.

    Wow!  My LO won't be cold either.  I haven't had a shower yet, and I registered for a few receiving blankets.  My mom and MIL gave me blankets that were mine and DH's when we were babies.  A lady I worked with gave me a blanket she crocheted.  I bought a baby quilt and am making a quilt especially for my LO.  I am horrible about leaving/misplacing things, so if you are like me, at least your baby won't be cold! Smile

    I thought for sure we would get lots of blankets at our shower and we got NONE!! Now I am a lil nervous as I only have baby's special blanket from my gramma who passed away years ago... Since I am team green, my sister reassured me, once people know what baby is they will most likely bring blankets ;)

    hehe! I have some hand me downs from my sister and some sleep sac/swaddling blanket dealies!

    I know how you feel!  I have something like 25 blankets and my mom keeps telling people that they can get me more for gifts!  She is in the party that one can never have too many receiving blankets...I have 25 (not including another quilt I know is coming) how many more do I really need?  I live in KS not MN, it doesn't get nearly as cold here as it does up there!  I think my mom forgets this fact.

    We had tons with dd.  Alot of her reciving blankets are now for her baby dolls and her other ones she likes to pull out and use with her babies, stuffed animals or to cover her self up.  She has about 15 in her room and uses them all up thru the week.

    Wow.. that's quite a bit of blankets!  I got several at my shower yesterday, but haven't counted how many.  I figured a lot of people like to give these, so I didn't put that many on my registry.

    I got a ton of blankets too...receiving blankets & nice fluffy soft blankets (which I would love to use for me) hahahaha..I was shocked tho that we didn't receive any diapers except for the diapers in a diaper bag & from the diaper cake they made me.
