Philadelphia Babies

Fertility Specialists...

Anyone know or can recommend a fertility specialist in the area, I live outside the city but am willing to drive for the right doctor.

  • There is Main Line Fertility in Bryn Mawr -- they have a great reputation.

  • Dr. David Goldberg in Bala Cynwyd- right outside of Philadelphia. He is a wonderful doctor.

I tried to get pregnant with 3 other doctors (for over 3yrs) and I went to see Dr. Goldberg and was pregnant within 2 months- plus he was able to correctly (finally) diagnose me (i too have PCOS) and correct the problem which resulted in a very healthy pregancy and my dreams totally fulfilled.

He also helped three of my friends ~ all within less than three months.

  • I'd also recommend Main Line Fertility.  I have worked with Dr. Glassner for both pregnancies.  I prefer him over Dr. Pfeffer, as I don't think Dr. Pfeffer has a great "bedside" manner.  First pregnancy took 4 months of treatment, this time only 2.  Both were wonderful experiences- I especially LOVE all ofhte nurses.  They know who I was each time, remember your "story" easily and are so personable.  They are SO loving and understand what you are going through.  I can't speak highly enough about all of them!

    Good luck in your decision!

  • I also used Main Line Fertility and both Glassner and Pfeffer, depending on which day I could attend an appt.  They are both great but very different in their bedside manners and their philosophies.  Meet both and see which is a better match.

MLF also did a fabulous job with very early appointments for me (730 AM) so I wouldn't miss any work. I thought they were very accommodating.  The nurses are also awesome!!

  • MAIN LINE FERTILITY!

I met Dr. Pfeffer, but preferred Dr. Orris. He isn't the most personable of physicians, but he got the job done!

  • Dr Glassner at Main Line Fertility is the best of the best. No, really, he is a many time featured Philly Top Doc! ;)

I love him, he listens and he got me pregnant, even with 4 different dx working against me. Dr Orris is wonderful, too!

  • I also recommend mainline fertility. Dr. Orris is fantastic and so caring. Would recommend him to anyone.
  • I would recommend Main Line Fertilty.  I've been a patient of Dr. Orris' since July 2010.  I usually see him at either the West Chester or Paoli office.
