We used it for the first time tonight & I love it!   Not only does it give her a "placemat" but it also catches all (ETA: most of) the stuff she drops- genius.

    We use this at restaurants. Just wait until she figures out that she can pull it up. It gets a little tricky then.

    Is there any way to stick it down? Marcos has the bad habit of lifting things up. He already knocks his tray from the highchair off.

    I got one of these at BRU when Kash was around 10 months old. Great concept, but didn't work for us.=(  It was pulled and on the ground in seconds.  Every time. 

    I have a friend that swears by it.  Her little girl has never thrown plates or bowls on the floor either which I think indicates if this would work for you.  Kash can't keep a plate on a tray either!

    Thank you Rachel. No, Marcos has broken a plate at almost every restaurant we have been to. I turn for a second and its on the floor. At home, I just give him little pieces at a time, no plates.

    I hear ya! Kash is 18 months and still eats directly from his highchair tray! No matter how much we practice or how often I put his food on plates, the plate and all of its contents are on the ground in minutes.
