How Fast Do You Get Thank-You Notes Done? *clicky*

Just curious how quickly people get their thank-yous out. What do you expect for yourself vs. others? For me, I want to get them done as soon as humanly possible, but for others, I'll give them like a month before I start wondering what's taking so long.

    My shower was on a Sunday.  Monday morning, I handed out thank you notes to everyone that was there that I also work with.  I split the rest into two piles and mailed one pile on Tuesday and the other on Wednesday.

    ETA: I'm with you.  I want mine done ASAP, but I give it a good solid month or so before I wonder what's up with others.

    I was brought up to send my thank you notes within a week of receiving any gift.  I know others were not brought up this way, so I give them a couple weeks to a month.

    I'm giving myself a month....I had 90 people invited to my shower so getting them done in a week just wasn't happening.  Even with me being on bedrest I still can't seem to get a lot done while laying down.  I've been doing a few a day and have about half done.

    I got mine done quickly (2 weeks) because I had time and I didn't have a large shower.  I think etiquette dictates you have up to 1 year to get out thank you notes after a wedding, shower, etc...  Personally, I think within 3-6 months is totally reasonable. 
    I give up trying to get a ticker.  I have a DD that is 2.5 years old and is awesome.  Maybe I'll add a quote to distinguish myself.  Hmmm.  How about...

    Right. I had 2 showers (Saturday + Sunday) last weekend with about 30 people at each, not including gifts from people who did not attend. I gotta remind myself to chill. My hand is about to fall off. Haha.

    my shower was last Sunday and I had them all out in the mail by Wednesday morning. I just wanted them done.

    I guess I'm awful :(

    My showers were Oct 16th/17th, and while most of the thank yous have gone out, I still have about 15 to go (there were about 70 in total).  I am planning on finishing them today.

    I got mine done within a week and a half.  I like to try to get them done as soon as possible.  I have received thank you notes months after an event...  I think anything over one month is a little tacky (just my opinion)!

    My shower was yesterday and I seriously doubt I will get them out Monday.  I am going to try my best to get them out in the next 2-3 weeks.

    PP's make a good point - I think it's really dependent upon how many you have to send out.  I only had about 30 to do, so doing it over 3 days was totally reasonable.  I could have gotten them out faster, but I figured 3 days was fast enough.

    My shower was last Sunday and I am starting them today. I will probably finish them all today just to get them done but I have to write 60+ thnak yous.

    My 1st shower was October 23rd and by Sunday morning all the clothes were washed and everything put away and all my Thank yous were written out. I sent them all out that monday. At my next showers I am driving to Arizona so they probably won't be done for a week or two when I get back.

    Normally, I start on them within a week of the shower.   However, since we've got some other stuff going on, I'm giving myself two weeks to get them out (my shower was yesterday!).  I def like to get them out ASAP though.
