I've been wondering when can I stop using my LO infant/toddler bathtub. If you no longer use yours, how are you bathing your LO? Do you like it better?
We use the big tub (have since 7 months). I put 2ish inches of warm water in the tub. Put Liam's rubber duckies/water toys in & then put him in. We have a gel gripper mat on the bottom of the tub & he crawls ALL OVER the tub! He Loves bath time so much more than he ever has. I either sit on the edge of the tub with my feet in while he plays or sit outside the tub and play/talk with him. He's not gone under once or slipped. We have a goldfish spout cover so he doesn't hit his head.
We still use the toddler tub but I think we're going to switch over. LO has been trying to stand in it and using the edges and the little "seat" as leverage! I think it's about time!
We only used ours twice. Then we switched to bathing with him. I get in the tub and hold him and play with him. Over time he's gotten more mobile and now he moves around a lot (we need to get some grippies). I love sharing bath time with him but I don't always want a bath myself so he doesn't get one every night. We'll probably start transitioning me out of the tub soon.
We still use our whale tub (in the big tub and she sits in it) - it saves on water and is quicker to fill up. Also, if i want to add warmer water...that's easy to do, too.
Same! She is trying to stand, so we may switch soon.

Us too. He starts standing up sometimes but I'm right there with a hand on him so I can put him back to seated pretty easily. He splashes around in there and enjoys it.. Maybe I'll switch soon, I don't know.
I have been putting his tub inside our bathtub, but it seems that he is outgrowing it. He splashes around and smacks himself. When I'm at my mom's and he needs a bath, I usually just put a towel right in the tub ( or something that will prevent him slipping) and he is fine. I think I may drop his tub at home too.
