DH versus Pack n Play changing table

After much swearing, pinched fingers and rage...DH - 1, changing table - 0.  And now its time to rearrange the living room so we can figure out where to put this "larger than I thought it would be" device. 
I give up trying to get a ticker.  I have a DD that is 2.5 years old and is awesome.  Maybe I'll add a quote to distinguish myself.  Hmmm.  How about...

    oh great.  i wonder how big mine is going to be bc i was planning on putting it in my room!

    mine is 4 feet long by 29" wide by almost 3 feet tall.  Its a pretty major piece of furniture.  I got the Graco Modern.  The dimensions do not count the canopy or changing table.

    Did you get a Graco? I put ours together last night, while DH was out with friends. Now I'm glad I did, b/c I have waaay more patience than he does & had to disassemble parts of it a few times to get everything together right. 

    I agree, it's a mammoth piece of furniture. I'm not sure where ours will go either but at least now I don't have to listen to DH cuss for 2 hours while he puts it together.

    ha ha, DH got in a major fight with our PnP taking it down, so we could go visit his sister for the weekend.  It wasn't pretty.

    My DH fought with the PnP as well.  I got the Graco Inman Park one and I can't believe how big it is!  Looks great though, just not sure where we will fit it!

    All of the reviews I saw for our PnP (Safety 1st Travel Ease) said it was super easy to put together, and it totally was.  Took me 15 minutes (and 5 min of that was me figuring out that one of the parts in the box was wrong).

    I wonder what makes it different than the Graco ones, assembly-wise.  I'm in love with how easy ours is to take apart and put together, because it's pretty wide and needs to be collapsed to move it from room to room.

    The pack n play itself was super easy.  It came pretty much assembled.  It actually packs up pretty slick.  The one we got came with a changing table attachment and that was in a few pieces.  You have to get 2 bars threaded through some fabric then get them both into 2 pieces of plastic at the ends.  There is only one angle to achieve this without changing the laws of physics and it took a while for DH to find it.  Once its together, its very easy to attach and detach from the pack n play.
