Those who have used the YI pill

For those who have been prescribed the yeast infection pill to cure your YI:

1) how long did it take to work?

2) were you cured after 1 pill or did you have to take a 2nd?

I took one Thurs late afternoon and I still feel the same symptoms I felt then.  I'm wonder if either 1) what is going on down south is NOT a YI or 2) I just need to give it more time.  Maybe TMI, but I don't have the moist feeling, just irritation and somewhat of a burning.  I'm sick of this...just want it to go away!  TIA for any advice/shared stories.

    I was good after 1 pill, but I think it took about 2 days before the irritation was gone. I didn't have a lot of the "normal" symptoms either. Actually didn't even think it was a YI before I went to the gyno.

    Same here!  I actually just had a YI two mths ago and I knew it was a YI.  This time it didn't feel the same but the obgyn seemed to think that's what it was.  So today would be day 2 for me...hoping it goes away soon because it is definitely still there.  Not even sure it's any better than it was Thurs.  I'm SO frustrated & stressed over this.

    I was just at the Dr. about 2 weeks ago, they gave me 2 pills plus cream and my symptoms actually got worse than what they were before. I have to call the Dr. back next week! Grrr!

    Usually it will work after 1 pill for me though!

    God!!! What is up with this!!??!!  It's so freaking frustrating!  GL...keep me posted on your progress. I will be calling Monday morning if my symptoms aren't better.
