New to this board... My Intro! (Fayetteville Area)

Hey everyone!

I live in Fayetteville with my DH and our DS. DS was born on August 10 and just hit 3 months on Wednesday. I can't believe how quickly it's going by! Anyway... DH and I have been together (off & on) since July of 2006. We got married this summer and are so glad to finally be parents! I am currently a SAHM and I don't know if I want to change that... at least not for awhile! DH is in school full time and has been on the hunt for a job too.

DH just got out or the Army in March of this year and is in the National Guard now. I pretty much grew up in Fayetteville/Moore County, but don't have many friends around here anymore since the majority of them are off at college or stopped talking to me once the baby was born (isn't it nice how they become "busy" all of a sudden? wow). I have ONE friend in town who is also a mom, but I need other people that I can connect with... especially people who live in the same area as I do! Sorry, but I find it hard to connect with people who are in a different state... kind of hard to visit, ya know?!

Sooo... I just wanted to get on here and introduce myself and say "Hey!" and hopefully I'll get to know some of the ladies on here! I feel kinda lame for being like "I have no friends... please talk to me" but hey, I have no friends! Please talk to me!

Welcome!! Don't feel bad I have no friends either lol. Same situation, they all moved away or went to college and I got married and started trying for a baby.

I'm near Greenville, which is a couple of hours from you but still fairly close. I think there are some other ladies here that are from Fayetteville though.
