Babies: 3 - 6 Months

Totally melts my heart.. :D

We have 3 dogs... 2 black labs (one about 90lbs and the other 70lb) and a Swiss Mountain dog (about 145lbs). I was a little nervous at first because they are sooo big and Mathieu was so little... But OMG!!!!! Watching them now totally makes my day. I couldn't imagine life without all of them. All of them love that little boy so much it is crazy. They always are so careful around him, and give him kisses, and bring toys to him! Now Mathieu has really started to pay them attention. I was sitting on the floor with Mathieu and our two black labs came and sat on either side of me and Mathieu started giggling and reaching for them... He got a hold of my Bella dog's ear and she was sooo good and sweet about it.. she just sat there and licked him!

Sorry for my rant lol... I just love my babies!!!!!! All of them!

  • Awww that's awesome! My 90lb black lab is just now getting comfortable enough to sniff LO, and she is fascinated with him whenever he comes close to her :)

  • Some animals are WONDERFUL with babies!  We had a great cat when DS#1 was a baby.  The cat would lay his head on DS#1's tummy and they would nap together on the floor - this happened a lot!  Precious.  When he got older the cat could have cared less when DS would give him a hug, pull his tale, ect.  They loved eachother.

  • Aww I love stories like this!

We have 3 pups, rat terriers, two of which are adopted and a bit quirky. Angus and Pony Boy (prior owner named him) are just LOVES to Silas and I couldn't be happier! With people they both can be a bit high-strung but they understand DS is a babe and needs to be cared for more gently...they also are very concerned when he cries and get ticked off if DH and I aren't quick enough to care for him...furbabies rule!
