Breakfast anyone?

I woke up at 8:30 for no other reason than my back was hurting in bed. I feel very queezy. I want to put food in my stomach, but not really hungry for anything. I had a rice cake at 8:30 and thats it.

What does everyone eat for breakfast when they feel like this? I know my baby/body need food, but I don't know what I can stomach.

  • This morning I made scrambled eggs and enjoyed them with ginger ale.  The protein makes me feel a bit better.

  • I eat scrabbled eggs with pepper and toast with nothing on it.  Then 1.5 hours later I eat a banana and greek yogurt.  I feel like this has been keeping my quesiness to a minimum.

  • I make scrambled eggs for my BF every single morning so the smell of it is not my friend. I just put eggs on to hard-boil. And I'm nibbling on a half of bagel w cream cheese. Still feel gross tho. I want some juice but we only have OJ and Im scared of the acid...

  • I usually have greek yogurt and honey.

    DH was sweet this morning and made bacon sandwiches.

    UGH, I love bacon but could not deal with the smell this moring. This has been my first smell adversion. I didnt get sick- just had to get out of the house.

  • A great way to keep the queasiness away is eating every few hours. A little more for meals and a healthy snack in between. I usually do yogurt, nutragrain bar, fruit, crackers. It also kept me less cranky Embarrassed

  • I woke up at 4am, the sound of DH breathing in his sleep made we want to hit him (hello crazy hormones). So I went down stairs and watched 4 hours of HDTV, I now know lots about the housing situation in Toronto. 

    For breakfast I had a slice of toast, although I think when DH gets up I going to make him take me to get blueberry pancakes.

  • As soon as I get out of bed I have dry toast and and hot lemon water.  About and 1 1/2 later I'll eat a yogurt (or a yogurt smoothie) then 2 hrs later I have v8 and either oyster crackers or grapes. 

    As of today that routine has worked for me, I'm sure by next week I'll be forced to find a new one.

  • Lately my go-to snack/breakfast has been sliced apples dipped in peanut butter, which is great for protein, vitamin c, and a teeny bit of fiber.  I buy the a container of pre-sliced apples in individual bags and the mini-peanut butter single serving size.  I can grab a bag of apples, pack of pb, throw it in my purse and eat it whenever I need to.  It's also great for breakfast b/c there is no cooking!  I'm actually eating it right now as I type :)  Good luck to you!

  • This morning will be a treat! :)  Biscuits and Gravy, Eggs, and blueberry muffins! :) Oh how I love Saturdays!

    Usually on a typical morning I have yogurt with granola, or oatmeal, some fruit and some juice.  

    I have not been feeling as sick as some of you, however I can't stop eating....I swear I have gained 10 pounds, however I refuse to weigh myself and do that torture to myself!

  • I had 3 breakfasts today Embarrassed

    Breakfast #1- 4am: 2 slices of whole wheat toast w/ butter & grape jelly.
    Breakfast #2- 8am: Luna bar
    Breakfast #3- Fuji apple slices w/ peanut butter.

    I could go for denny's pancake puppies... soooo goood.

  • I eat kids cereal or toast. Captain Crunch seems to always go down and settle easy for me. Toast is good because it is pretty bland and not heavy feeling. Sometimes I have to do toast for lunch too.

  • I'm usually happy with a bowl of mulitgrain cheerios or a slice of toast, but this morning my DH was wonderful and made me peanut butter and banana stuffed french toast. It was AMAZING and my body/baby loved it. lol.

  • I make a 2 egg omelet with whatever veggies I have in my fridge at the time (chives, onion, peps, cheese etc).  I do this evvery morning but M/S hasnt hit me yet, I dont know how appetizing eggs will be then.

    This morning my frying pan is dirty and I dont want to wash it :( so no eggs for me.
