"Why is your stomach so big?"

Asks one of the 4-year-old preschoolers at work. "Is it because you at too much stuff?"  It made me chuckle. 

Um, yea, that's part of the reason why my stomach is so large.  I don't think it clicked when I tried to explain to her that I am having a baby, and the baby inside my tummy is why my stomach is so big!

2nd ectopic resulted in loss of tube. HSG revealed remaining tube is "severely torqued".
IVF #1: ER 03/29/10; ET 04/01/10: transferred 2 embies; Beta #1 (9dp3dt)- 45; Beta #2 (11dp3dt)- 91= BFP
FET#1: ET 04/18/12: transferred 4 embies; Beta #1: >2 = BFN
IVF #2: ER 06/20/12; ET 6/25/12: transferred 2 embies; Beta #1 on 7/5/12= BFN
8/16: hysteroscopy for polyp removal
11/11: hysteroscopy #2 for yet another polyp removal
FET#2: ET 12/15/12: transferred 3 embies; Beta #1 (9dp5dt): 12/24/12: 426; Beta #2 (11dp5dt): 845= BFP
u/s 1/9= triplets!; miscarried all three on 1/10/13...

    Awe! How cute! My 4 year old nephew asked me a few week ago... "Aunt M, Why are you getting fat? Did you eat too much pasta?" 4 year olds are awesome!

    I had a 3 yr old ask if I was having a baby.. When I said yes she says, "its not nice to eat babies!" I love kids.

    My daughter was trying to give her baby sister  her sunglasses, and kept lifting up my shirt looking for her and saying, "Where'd she go?" When I told her she was in my tummy she got so scared and confused, lol.

    that is cute. we have some neighbor boys that asked me the same thing, i told them i had a baby in there, "WHOA COOL!!!!" i thought they were going to pee themselves, it was cute.

    My 6 yo SS understands the concept of me being pregnant. But we only get him every other weekend, so recently he makes the comment.... "It's getting big, I sure hope it goes back down!" Um I hope so too.

    My 12 yo SS has every once in a while made the comment "wow!  Your stomach is getting BIG!"  And the last time he said that, I explained that I understood what he was saying, but that he really shouldn't say that to other people because they might take it the wrong way.  He was concerned that he may have hurt my feelings, so he put his hand on my shoulder and said "don't worry about it, it will get small again."  What a sweetie!
