DH does it all, but he is a CFA (chartered financial analyst) and works in corporate finance. He makes me charts and power point presentations quarterly to give me the "state of our union". LOL, he is a major finance dork

My husband does this, too. Except it's a weekly state of the union (even if the state is unchanged he likes to look at the charts) and he's a software engineer. :-)

Haha I love it. My DH does the same thing except it is monthly. He prints out charts to show me what we spent on what and compared to the previous month. DH works in finance also.
I could say DH since he pays the most bills, but I take care of rent and of my car payment until just recently (put it on auto debit). I also take care of one small debt repayment each month. I do 99% of the food shopping, so.....I guess you could say it's even.

We share it. We sit down together weekly to pay bills, balance the budget and have a drink. We have a spreadsheet we use on the computer. But we always have felt that all money is "our" money. We get an allowance so that each of us has a set amount we can blow on anything we want but neither of us cares what the other buys. Along with having money in categories for things like beer/wine brewing money and clothing/makeup money. It works fantastic for us.

Haha, I am the one that likes to make all of the charts. I even chart DH's commission so he can see how that is going from month to month. DH is pretty terrible with budgets and whatnot- his parents didn't teach him a THING about money management. He has gotten much better but I am the one that stays on top of every penny, pays bills, etc.

Oooh, I want to learn how to do this. I manage the money, but it would be so much cooler if I could have a chart. I am a nerd like that.
Re: Who manages the money in your house? POLL
I love that he does that for you! Nice job DH.
