Just got done at my consult appt for Mirena..

First off, it was with a new OB because mine skipped town.. and it was the first time i've had a male OB, but he seems really nice and i've had many recommendations for him!

I'm pretty pumped but also kinda nervous about the IUD.. I just hope i like it unlike the Depo...

Any Mirena users out there to pump me up about it? Geeked

    Never had depo, but had multiple other BC pills and the ring. Mirena is AWESOME. I never have to think about it and I don't feel it. Plus, I hardly get periods ever with it in (and when I do, they are extremely short and light).

    Thanks, yea i just want to find something i like and stick with it- i'm tired of jumping around, different pills, the depo, now this.. and i hope this is the one i have for years!

    I am in love with Mirena. I don't have to remember to do anything for the next 5 years & my periods have stopped completely!

    i bleed like a stuck pig two days a month, but I have NO cramping, no crazies, no nothing other than the bleeding.  I <3 my Mirena.  I don't have to think about anything, I don't have to worry, and it works with our timeline.
