Child Birth classes!

Hey girls!  I am about 15 weeks pregnant with my first baby :)  I was wondering if anyone knew when most first time mommies start taking/looking at child birth classes?  I am totally clueless.. and how long do they normall last!?

    Check with the hospital you are going to deliver at. I took classes at Progress West. There were 4 evening classes once a week, but you can also do a one day Saturday class. It was worth it, but if you plan to go through labor drug free you might want something more detailed. I took my classes at 30 weeks.

    Definitely check with the hospital at which you are delivering. You normally don't take the classes until your third trimester, but they do fill up, so registering now is a good idea. We did ours through St. John's Mercy.
