This phrase annoys the sh!t out of me. How in the hell are you going to come to a site you have never been too and expect support that instant. It seems this is the line that gets thrown out by all the butt hurt newbs. Oh and lets not forget the "cyber bullying" lines.

Edit- NA how did you not catch my use of sight?

I totally agree with you MW. It'd be like walking into a room full of strangers and expecting them to fawn all over you and smother you in sympathies when you know none of them and are acting like a whiny little brat. Maybe that's the world they live in but it's certainly not reality.

If a strange woman walked in a room and said "Hi, I had sex with my man 2 weeks ago, my period is late and my boobs are leaky. Am I pregnant?" My jaw would hit the floor and I would quickly leave.

What the butthurt people don't get is that even though this is a board dedicated to BOTB, we still appreciate an introduction and a getting to know you phase, hence the "newbie" status.

I really don't have the time or interest to waste on someone who is a 1, 5 or 10 post wonder. I get and give support here because I have cultivated relationships with some pretty awesome women over the course of years and I am proud of it.

Back to the stranger walking into a room analogy; I certainly would not expect to walk up to a group of women having a conversation, plop my asss down and expect to be insta-BFF's. This may be the internet, but we still some behavioral and social norms that we rely on.

I'm still a lurker/newbie but you guys are spot on. Since these are public message boards, I can't imagine ever having the desire to share that kind of information with complete strangers.
