Sharp random pain in vagina?

anyone else getting this?  It's only happened two times randomly but it hurts so bad...of course I googled it andit says it's your body preparing for labor and it could be the softening/dialation of the cervix....it seems to be normal for around this time but of course i'm nervous being that I'm getting monitored for early labor

    I felt that ( sharp pain, like somebody pinching my cervix really hard when I was 32 weeks and went in to active labor. My cervix started dilating. Went to L&D, they were able to stop it with magnesium in IV. I was there for 2 days and finally left with pills to take every 6h.

    yikes I sometimes get this. And that's just what it feels like too..someone pinching me up in there.

    DIdnt someone say that could be the baby hitting a nerve, or am i just making that up to make myself feel better. I randomly get that too.

    I asked my doc about this just yesterday and she said it was the LO headbutting me in the cervix area b/c he is sitting so low.  She did not seem worried at all.

    Yes, I get it every time I walk the dogs. It's quite painful. Like PP said, I believe it's LO hitting a nerve.
