Re: BFing Mom's of 10+ month olds...
During the week...maybe 3-5 times. I nurse him before I leave, during lunch, before bed and whenever he wakes up in the middle of the night. Sometimes he wants to nurse as soon as we get home for the day.
On the weekends, I really don't know, I never bothered to count because it can be a lot at times. He still comfort sucks pretty often.
Once after she wakes up, once after her mornig nap, once after her afternoon nap, and once before bed. So 4.
But she's been barely taking the after am nap session. I'm actually going to be cutting that one out next week and replacing it with Cows milk. And she's not nursing before bed as much either. so that one may be next.

This is what our days are like, but he gets 3 five oz bottles. He even frequently wakes at night and I have to nurse him back to sleep. During the weekends/ my days off I usually nurse him about 4-5 times per day.
During the week, usually:
Wow, it feels like she's cut down a lot but written out like that it looks like a bunch still!
I nurse DD before I leave for work and right before she goes to bed. I also pump 3x a day to get her the 3 bottles she takes at daycare...so 5 total.
Only twice per day. Upon waking and when I get home from work. She gets bottles at daycare and before bed.
First thing in the morning (between 7-8am)
he goes to daycare and barely drinks 1 4 oz bottle of formula there (he's there for 5 hours)
Before his afternoon nap (3pm)
A bit after he wakes up from his nap (usually around 6pm)
Before bed (8-9pm)
Again when we go to bed (we bed share) (11-12)
and then comfort nurses a few times during the night. So 4-5 times not counting the comfort nursing at night?
Oh yeah, and he eats a fair amount of solids throughout the day.
