He LOVES There's a Wocket in my Pocket. In a People House is another good one, and Corduroy. He liked Mr. Brown can Moo, Can you?. Really he likes lots of books. The more rhythmic and rhyming the better, and the fewer words on the page the better. If I don't turn the page fast enough he seems to get bored. Bright contrasting colors in the pics also helps.

My son loves the Little Puppet books. He has two of them but they make a whole series. He has Little Fish and Little Butterfly. They are small board books with a finger puppet in the center. My son love to turn the pages and grab the finger puppet as you read the story.
We are going to try to get a few more for him at Christmas.
He also likes the Great Monkey Race, 10 Little Monkeys and 10 Little Ladybug books.
