When should we start going to OB every 2 weeks

Tomorrow is my 32 week appt. When I mentioned that to some co-workers they said after tomorrow, I should go every 2 weeks. However, I looked in my planner to see when I had the next one scheduled(I schedule one appt ahead of time to get an a.m. appt before work) and it isn't until 36 weeks. Is this right or should I mention something tomorrow? Thanks!

It may vary from different OB's but I know the office I go to wants us in every two weeks starting at 28 weeks...then weekly starting I believe 35 weeks. This is my first pregnancy and so far everything has been normal so it's not a rare scenario...I hope this helps.

After my next appt in 4 weeks appt I'll be going every two weeks.

It depends on your ob. You can ask them. I think the average is closer to 28-30.

Like everyone else said- every OB does it differently. I started going every 2 weeks at 32 weeks and I start going every week at 36 weeks.

My OB has patients come in every 2 weeks starting at week 28 and every week from 36 weeks. You should bring it up with your OB, just to make sure you are both on the same page.

I started every two weeks after 32 weeks (34 wks, 36 wks) and after my appt I had this afternoon I get to start weekly, but every OB is different...asking can't hurt though, right?

It depends on your dr. I will not see mine again until 36 weeks and then we'll go every 1.5 weeks. (I requested fewer visits unless an acute problem develops.)

Im pretty sure 32 wks is when I start going every 2 wks. I will find out in a couple wks at my next appt.

I never had 2 week appointments. I was going every 4 weeks until this past week, now I'll start going weekly. My doc told me that there was no need for 2 week appts since everything was going okay. I wouldn't worry about it.

IMO every OB is different but mine is every two weeks after 27 weeks and then weekly after 36 weeks. I've already scheduled my first two week appt.
