So I had to get my car inspected today and the lady that worked there (after rubbing my belly (EW!)) said, "When are you due?" "January 4th" I replied..."Oh you won't make it til then! Looks like you'll have a tax break this year."
Ugh. I do not know why this bothered me so much (I have been more emotional lately)...but wth does she know!!!?? I hope not to have to go to Jan 4th either but I want LO to come when he is ready...and if that is the 4th or Christmas Day or NYE I don't care! It just really irked me.
This is the first real stranger that has touched my belly and I just felt very violated. I need to get a game face on so people know I am not to be messed with at this point!
Ok. Vent over.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks it is rude for people to say that you won't make it to your due date! I am so tired of everyone acting like I am the biggest thing they have ever seen, and am going to burst at any moment!
Sorry that you got that from a total stranger! That makes it even more annoying!
Ugh. double bad behavior: touching a stranger and talking sh*t about her body.
I am getting simulatenously "Wow your belly is really big" and "Wow, you're barely showing" sometimes in the SAME DAY. Sometimes by people AS they touch my belly without asking... gr.
I have started spitting out these responses
"When did it become Ok for people to talk about my body like it was the weather? My grandmother always told me it was taboo to talk about a woman's weight."
"If you don't have anything nice to say about the bump, you don't get to touch it."
