That brought tears to my eyes! I am so happy for A that she has your husband. Amazing! What a great pre birthday gift for her also to know the end is in site
I am so happy for you and your family! I have said it before but I love reading these positive stories. It really does bring tears to my eyes Congrats!
It also gives us hope that maybe down the road when the time is right we could meet someone and marry and have them fully accept and help raise our children.
I think most of you know the rough road Alyssa went down...I've done my best to be mommy and daddy and make sure she didn't suffer because of her dad first choosing not to know her and then her fathers death...Ive prayed her whole life for someone to love her like their own.
In no way do I think she would be less of a person without Brian in her life, and I worked damn hard just as you ladies do to make sure she knew how loved she was (and is of course) but its a LOAD off your shoulders to know that someone who doesn't have to, doesn't need to, can love her like a daddy should.
I waited a long time for a man who was there all along...and he was worth every single minute I had to wait!
Sorry I'm so sappy, I can't help it...its been such a long, hard road to get here, a lot of struggles and a lot of amazing memories of just me and her that I will hold precious forever...I don't regret being a single mommy for a minute but I am excited for this new journey for us!
How can I be bumping incognito at work if you are making me cry?!? I thought about how special this Christmas will be for you guys, to all be together as a family. Dammit, I'm crying again! Congrats!!!

Congratulations! What an exciting birthday, Thanksgiving and Christmas gift for your daughter, you, your husband, son and the rest of your family.
It's so nice to know that happy endings happen and are possible.
"There comes a time in life, when you walk away from all the drama and people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh, forget the bad, and focus on the good. So love the people who treat you right, pray for the ones who don't. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is a part of life, getting back up is living."
