Oh no!

DD somehow managed to get a pretty good sized sliver in her hand today. DH and I tried to remove it tonight (which was next to impossible) but weren't successful. I think DH is going to take her to the docs in the morning to see if they'll remove it. Anyone have to do this yet? I'm just wondering if theres something else we can do instead of taking her in. I'm just afraid of it getting infected.

    I remember I read something about other ways to get a sliver out.  There's a couple on this page, the very last one, the potato method, seems like the easiest (if it works)

    I didn't click the link, but I heard of the potato method working, I also heard a bit of glue - wait till it dries and it will peel the sliver out. (if you can get her to stay still long enough for it to dry!)
