I haven't managed to plan anything yet. Probably spagetti, since DH and I won't actually be home until around 8:00, and I didn't thaw anything. It's been awhile since we had spagetti though, so it sounds good to me!
Im going to a girls get together were we play pokeno! We are having chili!! So excited!!! Tacos or spaghetti sound good!!! Spaghetti left over is awesome!
Sorry girls I have been MIA today! Actually doing work at work for once!
What's for dinner tonight girls? I'm thinking something easy tonight like tacos or spaghetti!
It's going to be taco night over at our house! I'm also going to try this new recipe I have for a Mexican-type casserole with black beans, rice and lots of cheese. Yum!

I'm on my own for supper tonight. DH has to go and input entries for Chess Fest, a kids chess tournament he runs every year. Not sure what I'll have tonight, everything we have is packaged in portions for 2.

Going out to the cheesecake factory with some fellow teacher girlfriends - definitely ordering either the taquitos or the bbg ranch chicken salad (can you tell I'm breaking my diet?
DH is at class, so I'll be heating up leftovers for him late night - I found an awesome Pumpkin Pasta recipe. I had tons of leftover canned pumpkin after making pumpkin muffins and added it to: tomato sauce, sauteed zuchinni and onion, ground turkey and pasta. Yum!

The Rumbling Tummy
DH helped a friend (who is the contractor who did our house) with a job today for some extra cash. The guy invited us to dinner but I didn't feel like leaving the house, so DH is bringing me pizza from some hole in the wall place that is supposed to be REALLY good. So we will see!
I told him he had to be home by 7, my tummy wouldn't wait any longer then that =P
I marinated ahi steaks in olive oil, sea salt, cumin, and a mixed spice. We seared them on the grill. I then made brown rice with onions and red and green peppers and the same spices. It was sooo good.
DH is having pot roast. I'm supposed to go to dinner with my co-irker, boss, and some auditors. But I don't want to and I haven't even seen my boss or co-irker today. I'm seriously considering leaving and saying I "forgot" about dinner. I haven't even met the auditors. It would just be awkward anyway.
We are having cheez-it chicken and grilled asparagus. For the cheez-it chicken, just crumble up 1.5 cups of cheez-its and mix in 2 teaspoons of italian seasoning and salt and pepper. Dip chicken cutlets into 1/2 cup (in a shallow dish) of buttermilk (letting the extra drip off), and then dip in the cheez-it mixture. Bake for 30-50 minutes at 350 degrees. Yum!

No cooking for me tonight because my parents are having us over for dinner. My mom's making fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy. None of this is on my diet, but I could care less. I can't remember the last time my mom made fried chicken, so I plan on enjoying myself!
