So I emailed my Dr. this am to ask if the meds im taking for my shoulder pain are safe if im TTC. I made it clear that we are *trying* to get pregnant. This is what he responded with.
Congratulation on your pregancy. It must be exciting to have this baby growing inside of you. I double checked for you. Flexeril is safe for pregnancy. You can take it at bedtime only.
Another option would be cortisone infection. I prefers to wait on it until your pregnancy is more established.
Let's not even get on the spelling errors but I was in shock and a bit sad =(

Wow, just wow. I would probably respond with something emphasizing that you are still *trying*.
So, he says an option is a cortisone infection? That doesn't sound very pleasant

DW thinks I should respond and correct him but really im just upset that he didnt read the email enough to see that I said we are *trying* to get pregnant. I may send him an email back that lists the procedures and meds ive taken and add that I have yet to " have a baby growing inside me" but thanks

Ugh. I'm sorry. That's ridiculous and I would be seriously upset.
As a side note, that's good to know about Flexeril, though, as I take it occassionally for shoulder pain, too!
