My kid LOVES Chick-Fil-A!

Calm down, all of you fast food haters. I'm not even talking about the food here!

We met up with a friend and her 2 year old daughter yesterday at Chick-Fil-A, and DS had a BLAST in the play area! I had no idea how kid friendly that restaurant is...the play area (at least at ours) has a whole area just for toddlers. DS spent a good 30 minutes squealing and laughing and playing with all of the toys on the wall. I've never seen him so excited and adventurous!

And every highchair has a disposable placemat to stick on the table. Ingenius! Not to mention the fact that the workers are wonderfully helpful. The circulating guy (who gets refills, etc) helped us move the highchairs over, and the cashiers carried our trays to our tables.

And FWIW (because I know some of you are wondering), no, DS did not eat the food. We brought snacks from home, and he shared my fruit cup. Stick out tongue

  • I wonder if the one by me has a play area.  I never go inside, LOL!  Keira might like that place too and mommy loves their fries!

  • I saw this title and thought: Uh oh..

    Ha!

Great to hear.  I wonder if we have any kind of place like that in our area.  The mall has a big play area in food court, but it is always a MAD HOUSE with kids running around. I'd be afraid to let DS play in there!

LOL -- that's exactly why I used the title that I did...I could just imagine everyone getting in a tizzy about it. Stick out tongue

Fortunately, there weren't many other kids in there, so it was perfect. But I'd be scared if there were mobs of bigger kids running around!

  • The babysitter takes DD there when it's raining to play and get the other kids out of the house. She loves it

That would've been my response, too!

  • Serious question:  What is wrong with giving an 11 month old chick-fil-a occasionally?  I mean it's not poison.  A few chicken nuggets and a fruit cup isn't going to hurt anyone.

I wouldn't see the need for side eyes even if you did give it to him.

Exactly! I was actually planning on taking DD to the mall tonight and after seeing the title of this post, thought I might give it try! Flame away if you'd like. Big Smile

  • We are Chick-Fil-A lovers here too.  I discovered their great play area when ds#1 was around this age. So fun.  And I have to admit I have given him a taste of my fries and chicken.

  • I'll have to take my daughter into the play area next time we go there to eat. Oh yeah, and I'll probably be giving her a nugget to gum to death and a couple french fries to eat.
