I've had a hard time eating since nothing sounds good, but lately, the strangest types of foods actually settle well. Last night, DH made burritos with a side of Rice a Roni. The burritos were a no go, but the Rice a Roni was fabulous! I don't think I've ever eaten so much.
This morning, I drove by McDonalds and for whatever reason all of the sudden was craving their fruit and yogurt parfait. I got one and it was heavenly. I want another one!
What foods are you able to eat/keep down without feeling sick to your stomach?
Re: What foods have you been able to stomach lately?
So far I'm able to keep all foods down, and not one is making me sick. But when I start to think about meat I start to make myself sick with the thought. However, I didn't have a taste for chicken, but DH got general tso's chicken for dinner last night and I ate about 4-5pieces of it. I think when I keep myself from eating, my stomach seems to do flips on me and my mind starts to play tricks on me.
I'm really hoping that my m/s doesn't turn into a "no meat" m/s again. That was awful, but I'll do it if that's what I have to do.
Things mint-flavored, oatmeal, and non-acidic food. I am just having a problem trying to figure out what sounds "good." So I'm going with what I know until I tire of it I suppose.

I was handling food pretty well until this week. On Monday, I grabbed some chicken nuggets from McDonald's and almost threw up right after I finished eating. I probably eat there once a year, so maybe that had something to do with it. I was craving those fries though and those helped me keep the rest of my meal down.
Last night, I made some chili that I normally love. I ate it but my stomach kept feeling queasy all night afterwards.
Today, all I want are carbs. I've had an English muffin for breakfast and then salt & vinegar chips for lunch. I was going to make a sandwich but nothing is appealing to me right now. I'm sad since we have a ton of leftover chili that I'm afraid to eat. lol.
I feel you, I feel so guilty about eating all the chips and fries, but I'm so nauseated at the thought of just about anything else I can't help it. Come on 2nd Trimester so we can eat something healthy again!!:)
