WWYD? (TMI)

for the past few days I have not been feeling well. I have had a lot of diahrrea and a low grade fever that comes and goes. LO's activity has been a little off, too. Well last night I thught I was going to die. I was woken out of my sleep atleast every hour due to either bh or ctx. My uterus/muscles down there are achy and it even hurts to press down on my ute. So would you call your doc or try to ride it out? Im going to feel stupid if it is all from a somach virus. My lower back is hurting too. And I have been laying on my left side and drinking. I just dont want to over react.

Re: WWYD? (TMI)

  • I would definitely call your doctor and speak to someone. I am not sure about your doctor's office, but mine is very good when I have any questions. A nurse calls me right back and evaluates the situation then decides if you should come in or not. It may just be a stomach virus, but you would feel better if you spoke to someone! Good luck and hope you feel better!

  • I would call.  Even if it's just a stomach virus, I'm sure they would want to know about it because I would think it might affect LO.
  • Call, call, call...I had some stomach issues this past sunday that were causing an achy feeling in my lower belly.  I assumed it was RLP b/c it didn't feel like a BH but DH told me to call anyway. They had me come in and I wasn't having any big ctx but very little ones caused by my uterus being irritated due to the diarrhea.  They ended up giving me something to calm my stomach and uterus....also keep drinking LOTS of water
  • I'd call.  That's what they're there for - hopefully it's nothing serious, but I'd let them make the decision about how to move forward.  At the very least, they should note that you're having these symptoms.

This. Just to be safe!! :)

  • I would call just to make sure.  Can't hurt to talk to the nurse.

  • I would definitely call.  They're there to answer your questions and either reassure you or check out everything to make sure you and LO are ok.  Hopefully it's nothing serious and you feel better soon!

  • Any time you have any kind of fever you need to call!!!
  • If you are having contractions aside from the occassional, random BH contraction, you should always call your OB and go in to L&D to get monitored.  Feeling sick and diahrea can also be a sign of early labor.  I don't think you can over react in this situation.  Always better to be safe than sorry.  Good luck, hope its just the flu.
I give up trying to get a ticker.  I have a DD that is 2.5 years old and is awesome.  Maybe I'll add a quote to distinguish myself.  Hmmm.  How about...
