Really?? I um had not noticed since I can;t see my feet anymore...
Everyone is telling me this, people I work with, know, strangers etc.

WHy do people feel it is acceptable to tell an emotionally charged woman that she is HUGE???? I am so I get it sometimes, but it is getting old, qickly

I had someone tell me the other day "Wow, you really look pregnant now." Thanks for reminding me, since I somehow missed the previous 31 weeks of my pregnancy.
For the most part, people just tell me over and over that I look huge or ask if I'm having twins. I'm 5'3" and have a short torso, so of course I'm going to be all belly!
I've only recently begun getting that.
Up until now, I've been p!ssed at basically everyone saying, 'Oh, I didn't know you were pregnant!' To which I always reply, 'What, did you think I just got really fat?!' Just because I don't wear tight clothes (so as not to show off the 'love handles' I've ended up with) doesn't mean you can't really tell I'm pregnant.
It just proves people are total idiots and they're really better off keeping their mouths shut! Okay, sorry for the min-rant! But, I feel your pain!

I always get "you are soooo tiny!" whether that is a compliment or a criticism, I do not know.
I used to onlly get that from my MIL and mom, but this past week I got it from a few people at a party. I agree some are idiots and are ignorantly inappropriate. The thing that gets me as that some of these people looked the same or bigger than me when they were pregnant... did they just forget? I really think the older people that say it really do forget big a baby/belly can be but don't get the ones who gave birth from the last 10 years.
Oh, when i was at the salon, the lady told me that some say that when you have a boy, the marriage suffers and sometimes end. Can you believe that? We're having a boy and she said that in front of my DH too.
I was talking to this lady at one of dd's friends b-day party this weekend and she thought I said that I had 2 weeks to go and I said, "oh no, I have 10 weeks to go, feels forever!" She says, "TEN WEEKS!? Oh my lord, you're going to be SO HUGE.".
F-YOU lady. F.You.
Today a complete stranger in the parking lot at CVS asked, "Boy or girl?" After I answered, "It's a girl", she said, "It's a big girl!"
WTH? She had no idea how far along I am, how I've been carrying, nothing. How the heck would she know how big my baby is? Basically she is just calling me a heifer. :P
I'm 34 weeks pregnant and going to college classes still. This girl I barely know from my class said this to me in the elevator-
"I know I'm not supposed to say this, but you're REALLY HUGE!"
Well if you know you're not supposed to say it, then just spare me and DON'T SAY IT.
Then she proceeded to ask me how much weight I gained since last semester.
