A trip to the veterinarian's office makes you feel like you've been to a party!
As is the case with many of you, LO and I aren't venturing out this fall and winter in hopes of avoid any unnecessary infections. Other than rare trips to the pediatrician, DS never goes out, and I only go out for the absolute necessities, so my social contact is obviously limited (and I am pretty gregarious).
Over the weekend, my beloved 10 year old English Springer Spaniel jammed one of the nails on his front paw, so my mom kept DS while I took Solomon in to have it rechecked today. While I was there, I had several nice conversations in the waiting room and a fun talk with the vet (after discussing the "patient") about my favorite show, Mad Men. Judging from the way the conversations re-energized me, you would think I've been at a cocktail party or something!
Granted, this isn't the most substantive post, but I thought you all might be able to relate in some way. Hope everyone is having a great day!
