I keep going back and forth between the UppaBaby Vista and the Baby Jogger City Mini. My in-laws are (very generously) getting us the stroller, no matter which one we choose, so price isn't an issue. I know they're quite different but I just can't figure out which is the right one for me!
I live in a city and will mostly be walking and using public transportation (subway and bus), although I do drive to the grocery store and a few other places. I like everything about the Vista... except the weight. I'm a small person and I'm worried that it's going to be too bulky and heavy for me, and that as soon as the baby is old enough I'm going to give it up for a lightweight umbrella, making the purchase not at all worth it. I like that the City Mini is much lighter, but I'm worried that it's a little flimsy (I don't like how the seat can swing back and forth a little b/c the frame is only in the front).
I've only heard excellent things on this board about both strollers. Has anyone compared them head to head? What would you get?
Re: UppaBaby Vista vs. Baby Jogger City Mini
If weight is an issue, I would recommend the City Mini. Although with no price limit I would be VERY tempted to ask for the UppaBaby and then just buy the City Mini on my own, lol.
The City Mini is really VERY light though. I can hold my 2.5 year old with one arm on my no pregnant hip, and still pick/fold up the stroller with the one remaining hand with no issues. That's how easy it is to use. LOVE it.

I had a Vista for the first 20 months - it was fine when we were in the city and didn't take it in the car much but once we moved to the burbs the stroller was too heavy to be lifting in and out of the car.
I sold it and ended up getting a Phil & Ted's Sport with the double attachment - I wanted an in-line double and didn't want to add more weight to the Uppa Baby.
No experience with the Baby Jogger City Mini though, sorry.
