PP cycles

I'm trying to chart to avoid until we TTC again in the Spring, but it seems like my body just bleeds whenever it wants.  I didn't want to be a psycho about taking my temp since we're just TTA, but I feel like I need to figure out if I'm actually o-ing or not. 

How long did it take for your cycles to return to normal PP once you got your first period?
