Introduction...

I just wanted to say hello to everyone. I will be around from time to time now. I got my BFP yesterday at 9 DPO & have my first appointment tomorrow at 3:00.

I was wondering what you all experienced at your first appointment. I know that it is different based on your doctor but I was wondering what to expect.

I went in, peed in a cup, and they told me I was pregnant. ha! Then they scheduled an "OB intake" meeting, where they got our family history, etc. Nothing too exciting. No poking or prodding.

I went on Friday and just had blood drawn--I was in and out in 15 minutes. I don't get the results until tomorrow or Wed. The nurse said that after the positive blood tests comes back, they will schedule me for an U/S to confirm how far along I am, and then will have my first "real" appointment between 8-10 weeks.

I am 99% sure I am pregnant though--missed period on 10/7, 6 positive HPT's and have had M/S the last 4 days.
