  Sounds like lightning crotch to me - same thing I dealt with over the weekend.  Asked my doc about it today and all he said was that it could be the baby's head hitting my pubic bone or just the weight of the baby (in other words, "lightning crotch" isn't a scientific term...lol).  He said it's not contractions, nor is it the beginning stages of labor, so if I wanted to, I could just take some tylenol...

  Can I put a spin on this?  Is anyone "swollen" down in there nether region?  This is baby #3 for me and I swear I've never experienced this before....I noticed it a couple weeks ago when I went pee and wiped, my lady bits felt like they were popping out down there - like there was too much pressure.  I'm hoping its just weight gain, but, like I said with my other two I have recollection of this.  Anyone?

  I've swollen down there for about 3 weeks now. OB said it was from pressure.
