...that someday I'll check the price for these boots and they'll magically be marked down to like $50.
From $975.
Because that's realistic, right?
(Yes, I know this isn't baby related. But I need someone to share my pain of love for unattainable footwear. *le sigh*)
Re: I keep hoping...
Even if I could afford them I couldn't wear them because undoubtedly they only go up to a 13-14" calf. *sigh* They sure are lovely though...

Yeah, I'm choosing to live in denial about this. Even when I was a size 8, my calves were still too big for most boots. The muscles on the outside of my leg are really built up for some reason - I never get muscles on the inside, just on the outside. Me = genetic freak.
this. I just got my own version of splurge boots:
and I am contemplating taking them to a cobbler to get a hidden elastic portion hidden under the pull straps because they are so tight - getting them on is a fight.
In my defense, why do they taper in at the very top (you can see that in the picture - almost like the boot to go up over the calves when really they hit right in the middle of mine because I'm tall?)
i have the opposite problem - i must have twig legs or something, b/c those kind of boots always look like stovepipes on me - way too huge around the ankles and the calves. which makes them uncomfortable to wear, since i'm swimming in them (not to mention not very attractive). so - you can't win! i can only find tall boots that fit if they're the stretchy kind, but no one seems to make them anymore...
but yes, those are pretty!!
