will white curtains get dingy?

I'm thinking of doing long white curtains in DS's room (the walls are like a greyish ice blue and the furniture is chocolate brown).  Do you think they will get dingy over time?

    We have some white ones in our house and I just wash them with oxyclean and that seems to work.  I wash them about once every month or 2 when i remember.  When baby comes I am sure that I will be washing them more due to allergins.  I would make sure that they are a fabric that can just be washed and dried.  That is a priority for me on anything from here on out.

    All curtains get dirty over time. It might be a little bit more noticeable with white curtains but based on your description of the room, white seems the way to go.

    Like the previous commenter said, just make sure that the fabric is washable and wash them every few months.
