Recs for kid-friendly restaurants in/near Monterey needed

We'll be down there this weekend to celebrate C's birthday. We're driving down on Friday and home on Sunday. We'll be staying in Marina (about 10 minutes from Monterey) and we're taking him to the aquarium on Saturday. Our hotel has complementary continental breakfasts so we mainly just need a couple of recs for dinner. Chains are perfectly fine with us. TIA!

How fun!! There's a restaurant in the aquarium that's really nice (use the table service side instead of the buffet side). Bubba Gumps is always good and down there on Cannery Row.

As long as both of them cooperate, we should know their sexes on the 30th. I cannot wait to find out. C is insistent that he is getting two baby sisters. If you even mention baby brother, he'll say "No, baby sister" or "two baby sisters". I'm hoping he's right with at least one of them since this will be my last pregnancy and we both would really like to have a daughter.

My husband and I will eat pretty much anything. The kiddo is the picky one and will usually only eat chicken strips/nuggets or cheese pizza when we go out to eat. Sometimes a bite or two of our food but that doesn't happen very often.

There is an awsome pizza place on lighthouse but I forgot the name.

oooo There is a really cute coffee shop like resterant in the Monterey Plaza hotel. The seating over looks the water, the prices are reasonable, it's down the street from the aquariam and the valet parking is free for 3 hours with lunch. I think it is called the Duck Club. I am pretty sure they have ckicken tenders and pizza on the menu. I love that place!

One of my favorite places to eat! : )

If you go to the Dennis the Menace Park (which is freaking awesome) and need a dining recommendation near there, check out Marylns Grill. It's diner-y in feel, the food was pretty good and there is a good variety on the kids menu (as well as healthy options).
