Sometime after Thanksgiving. (usually in the week after)
I'm a little nervous this year. We got a 7 foot tree this year and i'm worried about keeping 2 kids and a cat from climbing it/playing with the decorations/tearing it up! (we've normally had just a 3 foot one on a table)
Our tree is already up *side note, we just got it new and DH wanted to test it to make sure the lights work. Since we already had it up for that, we decided to leave it up* It has no ornaments on it yet, I'm doing that this weekend.
As far as outdoor lights, I'm actually thinking of putting those up while the weather is nice someday this week. I won't turn them on until after Thanksgiving though. The rest of the decorations will come after Thanksgiving as well.
We're working on it now. We wouldn't be doing it till Thanksgving weekend under normal circumstances but we have a lot to do since we're gonna be on the homes tour. Yikes.
We will probably put up our outside lights this weekend since it will be warm, but not turn them on until the weekend after Thanksgiving when we put up the rest of the decor.

Probably the weekend after Thanksgiving. That is our norm. With this weekend being warm, DH might want to put up some outside lights, but who knows. Just have to see!
I have some lights outside(not turning them on until after Thanksgiving) and will be putting some more up hopefully this week. We have a small tree that Gracie and I will be decorating this Sunday(DH is away on a hunting trip).
We are getting out Christmas tree the Saturday after Thanksgiving and I will probably put my garland and outside Christmas decorations up that weekend too.

Normally we would put up the decorations on Friday after Thanksgiving, but we'll be OOT until Saturday, so if I have my way, I'll start getting stuff out Saturday night. It takes me a while to get everything up, I have a little Christmas tree obsession. I have several.
Normally I don't start until we get back from Thanksgiving - so the week after. This year I am taking a new approach. We travel OOT for both Thanksgiving and Christmas so I always feel a mad rush to get everything up (like Laura I have a slight Christmas decor addiction - something about all the sparkles
This year I started putting up outside lights this week - but won't turn them on until after Thanksgiving. I plan to start decorating next week. I am hoping that I will have everything up except for our real tree before Thanksgiving.
It'll go up the weekend after Thanksgiving. We're headed back to Knoxville the day after Thanksgiving and DH has papers to work on that weekend so I'll put it up while he's working.
