Hey everyone!
Most of my family has started asking me for ideas to get things for Allie for Christmas...and I am running out!
DH and I got her a kitchen and the accessories to go with it. I told my brother and his fiance to get her a play tea set, and my BIL & SIL are getting her a baby doll stroller and playpen.
Any other ideas for others asking? I still need to tell each set of grandparents something.
(She will be 23 months old at Christmas.)
Re: Christmas ideas for DD
Learning toys are always good, IMO.
Wooden blocks? I like the nostalgia of these and it gives a break from all the plastic stuff we already have.
Clothes? If you trust the tastes of those who are buying.
I'll post again if I think of anything else.
Kennedy is getting a lot of the same stuff. Santa is getting her a toy kitchen plus accessories. We also got her the FP teaset. I think SIL is getting her a little personalized apron to go with the kitchen.
What about a little shopping cart to go with the kitchen? K loves picking up things and putting them in baskets and containers right now. A shopping cart might be good.
What about a chalk or toddler coloring set? An eisel? A little playhouse for the backyard?

I agree w/ above. We did the kitchen last year and got her an apron and shopping cart to go with it. We has also received several Melissa & Doug and Target wooden/cloth play food sets which are adorable! PBK sometimes has some cute kitchen stuff on sale as well.
As for other stuff-we love the color wonder marker sets, bath crayons, puzzles, books, learning games (like leap frog), magnadoodles, baby doll stuff, etc.
Aubrey is also getting a kitchen and accessories from Santa.
I like the idea of a shopping cart if she doesn't have one. I also saw the cutest little toy ironing board and iron at Target today.
Baby doll stuff, puzzles, coloring stuff, movies, books, learning toys...that's all pretty typical stuff though.
Thanks ladies! I guess I should have clarified a little more on what all I got her as part of the kitchen and "accessories". So far I got her the Kidkraft kitchen (which is back to the original price...with no tax, and free shipping on Amazon), an apron and chef hat, shopping cart, pots/pans, utensil set, and the play food.
I know my mom is getting her the new Disney release (I think Beauty & the Beast)...but I will definitely look more into the puzzles and arts type stuff.
I was wondering if you had seen that. I ordered Aubrey's tonight and got it for the 149.99 with free shipping and no tax and was thinking all along that I hoped you had seen that and got it for that price too.
