for those who are measuring WAY ahead...
i went to the dr today and found out that my uterus is measuring 35.5 weeks...this seems outrageous to me. this is my 2nd baby, but for those who are measuring ahead, does this sound like a lot to you too? i didn't see my reg ob today b/c she was out on a delivery but i think i may call her b/c i'm a little concerned. i always measured 1-2w ahead w/dd but nothing like this...

I've been measuring 5 weeks ahead for a while now. Doc says it's either a big big baby or the way he's laying inside my tummy. I will have an ultrasound at 36 weeks to check his size. She said it wasn't anything to be concerned about though.
that does seem like A LOT...I was measuring 2-3 weeks ahead and that was alarming enough to them to send me for an ultrasound to see what was up...I would definitely ask your ob about that...

well that makes me feel better. this is my 2nd baby and my dd was 8lb11oz and 22" when she was born and since this one's a boy i know that he is probably bigger than she was. that combined w/my little 6 mo break between pregnancies and the fact that i have GD probably has a lot to do w/it. i think this baby is laying horizontally along my lower stomach b/c he kicks both of my hips at the same time! maybe that has something to do w/it too? it's always something these days...
AT 34 weeks I was measuring 41 weeks, my son was born 4 days early at 11lbs 1oz....I so thought they were full of crap..he's now 10 weeks and 17 pounds lol. There's no reason to be concerned, they will keep an eye on it.
